IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN

The following SAFETY GUIDELINES apply at all times:

If you have a medical condition or disability which may compromise your safety whilst using our facilities please advise member of staff.

We may require medical consent from your doctor where certain medical conditions exist. A health check declaration form must be filled out before using any of the facilities. 

Parents and guardians – please read the following safety guidelines

Swimming Pool Supervision:

• A lifeguard is not in attendance.
• All children under 8 years of age must be accompanied in the water at all times. Minimum of one adult to two children.
• All children 8-15 years of age must have adult supervision on the pool side at all times. Minimum of one adult to two children, or if accompanied in the water one adult to four children.
• Unaccompanied children aged 8-15 years of age must be able to swim without buoyancy aids. 
• Non swimmers must be accompanied in the water at all times. 
• All buoyancy aids, toys and balls etc. must remain in the shallow pool at all times. 
• No diving, no running, no bombing, no snorkels or slippers. 

Spa, Sauna and Steam Room:

• Children must be 8 years of age or over to use these facilities, 
• Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
• Please read user guides situated at each facility.

Gym:

• All users of this facility must be 16 years of age or over. 

We do not provide constant supervision of any of the Leisure Club facilities. In accordance with Health & Safety guidance we require all users to declare any known medical conditions or disability that may compromise their safety whilst using the facility. We may request written medical consent in line with this requirement before allowing entry and may still refuse custom if it is believed to be in the interests of safety.
